My first love is words. All the other stuff I've learned along the way, but good copy makes me weep with joy.
I studied writing, then marketing (you can't do one without the other). Then I worked for a few good companies. But I'm a bit of a control freak and I like things done properly, so I started to work for myself.
When I got really busy and clients were asking me for different kinds of stuff, I hooked up with the other Cheeky Sparrows and asked them to join me. Luckily they said yes.
That means we all get to do the stuff we're good at and love doing and our clients get a fantastic mix of super cool skills. Get in!
Likes: A tight brief, Walnut Whips and Peter Andre
Dislikes: Tomatoes and bad manners
I have spent the last 20 years in PR darhhling! I'm not anything like Patsy from Ab Fab, though I wouldn't mind the champagne lifestyle.
I love communication in any form. I'm as happy on the phone as on Twitter, Facebook or email. I'm enthusiastic about new technologies; I'd go as far as calling myself a social media junkie. I've got a pretty good handle on SEO and how to implement it in my writing.
I studied for my degree as an older student in Media & Communications which led me into PR
I have fifteen years experience of writing for websites including news stories and blogs.
Likes: Jewellery, the sun
Dislikes: Being cold
Call me Chelle and I'll respond. Call me Rachel or Michelle and I won't. Make me laugh and you'll get my attention. Keep it funny and I'll be your friend for life. Formulaic joke tellers need not apply.
I'm creative with a passion for design and writing. I love 'playing' with both visuals and words to convey a message/promote a product or service. My signature writing style is conversational with humour where appropriate, but of course I can turn my hand to whatever tone is required.
I have experience in writing blogs, SEO web copy, articles and press releases for companies aiming products and services at B2B and B2C.
I'm a conscientious, meticulous perfectionist who is obsessed with the finer details. I find a sense of humour helps me to overcome this.
Likes: Charlie Brooker, Marmite, laughing, karma
Dislikes: James Corden, marmalade, my neighbour's barking dog – does that make me a bad person?
I love love love writing, which has certainly helped me get through my degree and out there into the world of copywriting!
I've just finished my final year at the University of Chichester where I was studying English and Creative Writing. I've only been in the copywriting business just under a year, but I love everything I've done so far and I like to think my clients to do!
I might be the new fish in the industry but I am certainly making waves with my words.
Likes: Owls. My horses. Steak. Adele. Anything to do with fashion.
Dislikes: Mushrooms – they are the Devil's eggs

I've recently taken the plunge into the world of Cheeky Sparrow after 8 years working in corporate roles in sales, marketing and more recently, I specialised in web content.
Producing copy with character is my great love and anything with a quirky angle suits my style perfectly. I inject humour and a generous sprinkling of cheekiness wherever possible, so I'm fairly confident I've come to nest with the right birds!
Give me a brief that gives me free rein to creatively market to your clients and I'm happier than the whole flippin' dawn chorus. Throw some SEO in for good measure and this bird is in copywriting heaven.
Likes: Fashion and travelling to exotic places.
Dislikes: Sloppy grammar and not being on holiday.
My love of writing quite possibly stems from my love of reading. Give me a quiet corner, a comfy chair and a good book and I'm utterly content.
Having worked for others for many years, I decided it was time to spread my own wings and start working with the Sparrows.
I'm a meticulous copywriter who will research your needs thoroughly and create copy to engage and inform your clients. I'll turn my hand to any topic as I've got bags of experience to draw from across a broad range of sectors.
Travel is my passion so this bird would happily fly to any destination to fulfil your brief. Preferably somewhere exotic. It's no trouble, honest!
Likes: Travel and the first page of a new book.
Dislikes: Grumpy people and superfluous words.
I spend my days at Cheeky Sparrow HQ sleeping, chewing through wires and yapping at inappropriate moments – usually when I sense there is an important client on the phone. It amuses me greatly.
I'm only a puppy but my experience is vast. Quite frankly, there's not much I can't do. This, combined with my talent at charming visitors to the office, makes me a crucial part of the team.
I'm tenacious, lively and always up for a challenge.
If you visit the office, please feel free to bring a handbag and leave it near my bed. My preference would be Mulberry (just ask Sophie Welch).
Likes: Handbags, wires and crumbs.
Dislikes: Ducks and dog food.
